Paid feature — Automatic shipment tracking requires the Enthusiast plan or higher.
How tracking works
When you add a tracking number to an order, Churning Tracker:- Detects the carrier automatically (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, etc.).
- Pulls the latest scan event on a schedule.
- Updates the shipment status and the parent order status.
Shipment statuses
- Pending — tracking number added, no scans yet
- In transit — picked up by carrier
- Out for delivery — last-mile in progress
- Delivered — carrier confirmed delivery
- Exception — return, damaged, or address issue
- Lost — no scans for an extended period
Add a tracking number
You can attach tracking numbers in three ways:- On the order form — paste a tracking number when creating or editing an order
- Email automation — auto-pulled from shipping confirmation emails (see Email automation)
- Bulk via CSV — include tracking columns in your CSV import
Filter and audit shipments
The Shipments page supports:- Filter by carrier, status, retailer, or date range
- Search by tracking number or order number
- Sort by ship date or last update
- Stuck shipments — filter for In transit with last update > 7 days ago
- Undelivered orders past payout window — filter for not Delivered with order date > 30 days ago
- Exceptions — handle returns and re-ships before they impact payouts
